Andrea Jean Long Beaty, age 70 of Mannington, WV, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born July 22, 1945 at Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Ralph W. Long and Irene Watson Long.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa McCartney and husband James of Mannington; two sons, Michael Beaty and Lisa Leatherman of Morgantown, and Jason Beaty and wife Terri of Pine Grove, WV; granddaughter, Lydia McCartney, and grandson Luke Beaty, and Isabella Leatherman; one sister, Sonia Pratt and husband Fred of Oakland, MD; 2 nephews, Hagan Pratt of Ulsan, South Korea, and Devin Pratt and wife Ajla of Norwalk, CN; sister-in-law, Becky Lazorick of Rachel; 3 nieces, Allie Long and Amelia Long, both of Morgantown, and Kellie Moore of Crystal River, SC; several surviving cousins.

In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her husband Charles Howard “Huck” Beaty who died on May 4, 2007, and one brother, Ralph Long.

Andrea was a graduate with honors from Mannington High School in 1963, and a graduate of Webster College. She formerly worked at Wilson Ford, Westinghouse, and was a phone company operator. She enjoyed painting, drawing and writing. She attended Calvary Temple and enjoyed studying her bible.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11am with Reverend Jim Basnett officiating. Cremation was chosen as her final disposition and she will be interred at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com.
