Carolyn Lee Stewart, 66, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at United Hospital in Clarksburg, WV after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 24, 1947 in Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late George Woodrow Stewart and Helen Hayes Stewart Welch.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Beverly Brower of Wadestown; 2 nephews, Troy and Darlene Brower of Mannington and Michael and Jill Brower of South Lyon, MI; 2 nieces, Tracy and Robert Worobi of South Lyon, MI and Tara and Craig Fancher of Fairmont; 9 great-nieces and great-nephews; the love of her life and soul mate, Raymond A. Cox, and his son Kris; 2 aunts, Mary Jo Arnett of Fairmont and Jeanie and Jim Murtaugh of Florida.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her step-father, Harold Welch and a brother, Michael Stewart.

Carolyn attended the Business College in Clarksburg. She retired from the business office at Sears in Clarksburg. She was a member of the Truth Assembly Chapel in Wadestown. She enjoyed art work and doing portraits. Carolyn loved the Lord and was a true friend, loving aunt and wonderful sister.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 2 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jason Morgan and Pastor Jerry Teeter officiating.
