Celestine “Louise” Heflin, 81, of Four States, WV went to be with our Lord at 1:30 p.m. while surrounded by her family on Sunday, Sept 14, 2014 at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown. She was born April 2, 1933 in Wileysville, WV, daughter of the late Clarence P. Hayhurst and Mildred Irene Connors Hayhurst.

She is survived by her children, Christa Morrison, Celestine “Butterball” Longwell and her husband Ronald “Ronnie”, Clestene “Punky” Brown and her husband Robert “Bubby”; 2 step-children, Nelson Heflin and Bonita “Ruth” Heflin; one grandson whom she raised, Perry “Eddie” Heflin and his wife Brandi. She also had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Joe Morrison, Sr. and her second husband of 56 years, Perry N. Heflin; one son, Billy Joe Morrison, Jr.; one son-in-law, Lawrence “Tink” Whetsell.

Louise enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. She loved her family very much.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and special friends, Dottie and Jimmy Garrett. Also a special thank you to Ruby Memorial Hospital for taking excellent care of Mrs. Heflin.

There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the family cemetery at her residence on New Hill/Tank Hill Road with Pastor Opal Shuttlesworth officiating. On October 4, 2014, there will be a memorial service for Perry Heflin and Celestine “Louise” Heflin at the Worthington Fire Dept. from 2-9:00 p.m. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com
