She was wild. Living every day like there was no tomorrow. Nobody else like her. She broke the mold. I loved it when she called me "darlin" as she did so many of her friends. Smithfield won't be the same! Prayers for the family. I miss her already!!!!

Cynthia, you were my very first friend when I moved to Mannington and I have loved you since the first day I met you. We met at the Mannington Fair and never separated from one another the whole week. I had to go back to Ohio thinking I would never see you again and we cried so much. Then a month later my parents decided to move to WV and we reunited again. A lot of people never knew this about you and I and how we deep down were such good friends. We've had some crazy times in our lives and have drifted away from one another often but when the time came that we met up again it was as if we had never been apart. You were a free spirit with a heart of gold. Everyone who knew you, loved you. You were just that type of person that grew on people and we loved you for who you were. God has taken you from us way before we would have ever dreamed he would but he had a reason. Its hard for me to accept but I know that you are in good hands and you will be taken care of the way you should be. I will be here to keep an eye on your children as you would do for mine. My kids loved you dearly as most did and they are saddened by your death also but I have reassured them that you are stronger than most people I have ever known and you will be ok. Rest in peace my dear friend and know that a day will never pass by that I won't think of you. Bye for now and we will meet again someday just as we did when we were younger...friends forever we will always be!! Love you my sweet friend and I hope now you rest in peace. (knowing you though you will rock heaven like no other) Miss you!!!!

Cynthia you were like a second mother to me and I will never forget all the good times we had, we would stay up all night at your brothers house and party it up and laugh, and at moments even cry together!! And I'll never forget all the times you gave me really good advice when something was going wrong in my life or if i was ever upset about something else..you just always knew what to say to me to make me laugh and feel better. When we wouldn't see each other for a while I would miss you, and couldn't wait til you came back and we would just sit and catch up on what had gone on in each others lives while we weren't together for hours, and always had a blast!! You were a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, and most of all a tremendous friend to me! I will never forget Monday night of the fair, because we not only had a blast spending time together, but that was also the last time I'll ever get to see your smiling an beautiful face, so I will always cherish and keep that moment near and dear to my heart!! I know you will be up in heaven watching over not only me but everyone else that had a special place in your heart, and I know that if you see that I'm doing something wrong in life you'll send me a sign to straighten it out just like you always have. I'm truly going to miss you with all of my heart, but I know we will meet again, stay beautiful babes. Cynthia Marie I love you so much and you will never be forgotten by this girl, you played a huge role in my life!! Rest easy beautiful mama!!7
