Gary Wayne “Pedro” Tustin, age 66 of Mannington, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at West Virginia Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born December 19, 1949 at Wetzel Co., WV, a son of Carl Tustin and Merle Hayes Tustin.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dollie Porter Tustin of Mannington, WV; three sons, Gary R. Tustin of Mannington, Jamie C. Tustin of Joetown, and Michael J. Justin and wife Crystal of Farmington; 5 grandchildren, Brooke Tustin, Carly Tustin, Devin R. Tustin, Jace W. Ice, and Everlea R. Tustin; a sister, Donna F. Yost of Mannington; his mother-in-law, Pauline Porter of Mannington; 3 sisters-in-law, Doretta Bonnell and husband Dave of Mannington, Darla Porter-Wilson of Mannington and Dixie Tustin of Rimersburg, PA; nieces and nephews, Belinda Runyon, Melissa Goodman, Kristie Myers, Andy, Matt and Luke Bonnell and Charlie Tanner.
Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Shirley Carl Tustin, and a daughter, Tracy Lynn Tustin.
Gary was employed at the Mannington Exxon for 6 years and also the Produce Dept. at the Mannington Shop-N-Save. He was a United States Navy Veteran having served from 1969-1971. He enjoyed raising his “Banty” chickens and then selling and trading them. He coached Little League Baseball in Mannington for several years. He also enjoyed his time that he spent with his sons and grandchildren, as well as “pulling ponies” at various fairs in the area.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. in Mannington on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 from 2:30-9pm. Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday at 1pm with Evangelist Dr. Michael P. Reese officiating. Burial will be at Greene Cemetery in Dent’s Run.
