James Martin

James Edward Martin, 66 of Farmington, WV, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1948 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late James Orville and Beatrice Kane Martin.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Jennifer Martin Allen and husband Matt of Clarksburg and Jamie Hubbard and husband Keith of Farmington; 3 grandchildren, Abigail Hubbard, Ethan Hubbard and Lora Allen; one brother, Rob Martin; and a nephew, Christopher Martin.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Lea Bainbridge.

James was a member of the Carpenters Union. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and watching football on TV. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star.

There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 12:00pm at Martin Cemetery near Farmington, WV with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Full Military Rites will be accorded by the United States Army and the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com.
