Janice Elaine Satterfield Stewart, 68, of Mannington, WV, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born January 20, 1948 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Satterfield and Vereda Satterfield.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, James Stewart; 3 children, Angela Masters, James Scott Masters and his lifelong companion Rhonda Swiger, and Paula Tartell and her husband Jimmy Tartell; 5 grandchildren, Criquet Hamrick, Christopher Hamrick, Amber Fluharty, Eric Fluharty and Megan Stone; 2 very special great-granddaughters, Mariah Hamrick and Briella Hamrick; 2 very special great-grandsons, Carter Hamrick and Sawyer Hagley; 2 sisters, Lynn Hostuttler and fiancé Delmas Crawford, and Terry Satterfield, whom she loved and took care of everyday; her brother, Charles “Chuck” Satterfield; 8 nieces and nephews she dearly loved; and a very dear friend, Pat Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Hall.

Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She loved to read and gardening her flowers. She was a very hard, dedicated worker her whole life. She was a Christian. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her great-grandchildren. She loved going on trips with her husband.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, WV on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 2-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 beginning at 1pm in the funeral home with Evangelist Ron Allan officiating. Burial will follow at the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
