Jerry Lee Duncan, age 75 of Mannington, WV, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Madison Center in Morgantown. He was born December 26, 1946, a son of the late Paul and Ruth Velma Ice Duncan.
Jerry is survived by two children, Larry (Tonya) Duncan of Barrackville, and Sheryl (Christopher) Duncan-Wicks of Rochester, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale (Dottie) Duncan of Hundred, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Joseph 'Joe' Duncan, and his infant sister, Bessie Duncan.
Jerry was a graduate of Hundred High School, Class of 1964 and was a Christian by Faith. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War as an Aircraft Mechanic in the 183rd Aviation Unit. He worked at the JoAnn Mine in Rachel, JD Signs in Fairmont and was a member of the Car Crafters Car Club and the Over The Hill Kruzers. He had an appreciation for vintage cars and spent many enjoyable years restoring them.
Jerry’s family would like to Thank the staff at the Madison Center in Morgantown for their great care of their father. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 6-8:00pm where a Memorial service will be held beginning at 7:30pm with Evangelist Craig Matheny officiating. Cremation was chosen as the final method of disposition.
