John Richard Stull, 31 of Mod’s Run, Mannington, WV passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Mannington. He was born July 16, 1982 in Morgantown, WV, a son of Richard and Lori M. Stull of Mods Run, Mannington, WV.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” Stull, and two sons, Rudy Don Stull and Jax Logan Stull, all of Mannington; a former wife, Jennifer O’Dell of Mannington; a fiancée, Kerry Flaherty of Flemington; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many, many, friends.
John was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. John was a Union pipe fitter and welder and member of Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local #152. He was also a member of the UMWA construction workers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, working in his garage, and loved riding anything that had a motor. He had a “zest” for life. He was a mud racer and loved to put on a show!
Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Lee Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at the Viewpoint Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pet Helpers Inc., 726 East Park Road, PMB 311, Fairmont, WV 26554. John was a union brother of mine . The handful of times I was around john there was always laughter. That was one thing he made sure everyone did. Always smiling and having fun. I enjoyed watching videos of him muddin at events. I told him I wanted to eventually make it to an event, it always looked like a great time. John will be missed by many. RIP buddy
