Joseph Randall Fluharty, 60, of Plum Run, Mannington, WV, died after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1953 in Plum Run, Mannington, WV, son of the late Joseph Richard Fluharty and Helen Isabel Haught Fluharty.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years whom he married on October 9, 1971, Cathy Morris Fluharty of Plum Run; one son, Joseph Randall Fluharty, Jr. and significant other, Emily Fallo, both of Mannington; 3 daughters, Lori Kay Ennis and husband Richard of Fairmont, Leah Anne Minor and husband Brandon of Enterprise, and Kelly Isabel McDougal and husband Randal of Rachel; 9 grandchildren, Haley Fluharty, Megan Fallo, Jeffrey Fallo, Rachael Ennis, Corey Ennis, Kaycie Ennis, Katelynn Minor, Austin McDougal, and Damion McDougal; 5 siblings, Linda and Jimmy Hyde of Enterprise, Roger and Mary Fluharty of Plum Run, Sandy and Dallas Heldreth of Flat Run, Sharon and Jr. Byard of Plum Run, Lorna Toothman and fiancée David Chappell; 3 sisters-in-law, Donna Fluharty of Plum Run, Carol and Frank Watson of Rachel, and Karen Morris Taylor of Fairmont; a brother-in-law, Edwin Morris D.O. and wife Karen of Grays Run and Dan Morris of Rachel; 2 uncles, Jimmy and Linda Fluharty of Sunshine and Jim and Julie Ann McDougal of Rachel; 3 aunts, Ivy Tuttle of Fairview, Marie Fluharty of Plum Run, and Mary Ellen Parker of Apple Creek, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Fluharty; a brother-in-law, Stanley Toothman; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Morris; an aunt, Vi Haught; mother-in-law, Leola Morris; 3 nieces, Melissa Jo and Michelle Lee Haught and Cindy Kay Haught; 2 great-nephews, Bryon Atkinson and Bradley Lee Parker; and one great-great-nephew.

Joseph was employed coal-miner for Eastern Associated Coal Co. at Miracle Run. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. Mannington on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, in the funeral home, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Fluharty Cemetery. I am so so sorry for the lose of this great man. I have none this family all my life as friends and distant cousins. Cathy, Bub, Lori, Kelly and Leelee, I am so sorry I will not be able to be there for you all in your time of grief and sorrow. I love you all ... RIP Randy you are loved and will be greatly missed!!
