Aunt Becky was a big part of my life. From my early days in Mannington, I remember how she was always so cheerful. I would stop into the drug store and chat with her while I was buying a vanilla coke. We always had a laugh about something.

She sent us a Christmas card each year with a handwritten note. We looked forward to her cards. She was so intelligent and hard working.

Unfortunately, I'm in Brazil and simply can't make it to Mannington by Friday. If I was in North Carolina, I would definitely come to pay my respect and see family members. I remember clearly that she walked to Masters Funeral home to see my Father, Virgil, when he passed. I told my Sons, Nathan and Brian, how far she had walked at 90+ years old. She was quite a lady.

To Frank and all the Toothman family, I send my love. I just wish I could be there.
