Lucinda Jane Price, age 86, of Worthington, WV passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Woodlands Assisted Living. She was born May 15, 1929 at Pricetown, WV a daughter of the late George Price and Mary Maude Gump Price.
She is survived by one brother, George J. Price of Mannington and a niece, Tina Snider of Mannington, who helped take care of her, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lucinda was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Ethel King (whom she lived with for 30 years), Ruth Wright, Mary Wilson and Helen Glover; and 6 brothers, Rosco Price, Albert Neal Price, Robert Price, Harry Price, Lawrence Price and Earl Denver Price who died in infancy.
Lucinda attended 3 Crosses Ministries Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to church and playing bingo.
The family would like to thank all the workers at Woodlands Assisted Living for helping to take care of Lucinda over the last few years.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11am with Pastor Keith Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
