My Hart felt sarrows goes out to the Mafield family. Donny will always be known as Moose to me, as that is how he enterduced himself to me when we served together in the U.S.N. . Moose and I became friends in a quick fast hurry, mostly because we shared the same work ethic, but he also knew how to laugh and we spent many hours doing just that. Moose and I had lost contact for a few year, but when I looked him up he opened his arms with a hug and his home with a place to stay and as we sat on his porch catching up with each others lifes, it was as if no time had passed sense we had seen each other last. Moose and i are losing touch for awhile, but when i see him again i will get my hug and i am looking forward to catching up. I have had the plesure of meeting the Mafield family and i know that merely because i was Mooses friend i was afored the most generous hospatality, which is a testament to the Mafield's and there love for Donny.

We are very sorry to hear of Donnie's passing. We liked him very much and will miss him. We enjoyed spending time with him and listining to the stories he shared with us. We know that he is enjoying spending time with Chuck and spining those tall fish tales. Unfortunely we are unable to attend the funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you all.
