Ada Mae Tanner Hoy, 86 of Mannington, WV passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Pierpont Center at Fairmont. She was born May 3, 1924 at Mannington, WV a daughter of the late Alvia and Alice Roupe Gray.
She is survived by her son, Larry E. Tanner of Mannington, WV and a daughter, Joyce Sue Schapperle of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Timothy, Michael and Charles Schapperle; three great-grandchildren, Lucius, Darin and Amanda Menefee.
In addition to her parents Ada was preceded in death by husbands, Raymond Tanner and Robert Herman Hoy; her son, Terry Wayne Tanner and his wife Jane McCoy Tanner and their children, Susan and Patty Tanner; daughter-in-law, Nancy Tanner; three sisters, Pearl Booth, Mary Covey and Goldie Barrett and one brother, William Gray.
Mrs. Hoy was a homemaker and was a member of the Mannington Church of the Nazarene.
Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Dooley officiating. Burial will follow at Viewpoint Cemetery.
