Anna Louise Parker 76 of Brookfield, Ohio had an angel come down and take her by the hand and say “walk with me” on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 . She was born September 12, 1934 at Mannington, WV a daughter of the late Carney and Martha Lehew.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Ann Gaydos and fiancé Steve Molitor of Hartford, Ohio; a son, Michael D. Parker; a daughter-in-law, Judy K. Parker of Hawaii; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Anna Maria and Brent Terry, David and Sara Keoskey, Terri and Pat Barnes, Crystal and Joe Alford, Gabrielle and Jerry Doherty, Joshua Parker and Rebekah Parker; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Diana “Cookie” Dawson of Mannington, WV.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel O. Parker; a son, Louis Edward Parker; a sister, Ida May Miller and son-in-law, John M. Gaydos.
Anna was a homemaker who enjoyed working puzzle books and attending country music shows. She loved going out to dinner with her grandchildren, David and Sara Keoskey and attending family functions at her grandchild Anna Maria’s home. She loved her best friend, Snoopy the cat. She was a member of the Lake Milton Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder.
Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. Mannington, WV on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 11:00 A.M.- 12:00. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
