BARBARA ANN FLUHARTY, 83, Little Dents Run Community, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the residence of her daughter, Carol Hostuttler. She was born Sept 3, 1934 at Fairmont, a daughter of the late Maurice E. and Lula Rae Cain Roberts. She is survived by four sons: Gary (Donna) Fluharty, of Mannington Ronald Fluharty Jr. , Alan (Tammy) Fluharty and Mark (Vickie) Fluharty , all of Fairmont; two daughters: Carol (Timothy) Hostuttler of Mannington and Denise
Ingram of Prairieville, LA.; thirteen grandchildren: Taylor Hostuttler, Jesseca Full, Brooke Bittinger, Bailiegh Fluharty, Alan Fluharty, Jr., Meegan Fortney, Andrew Fluharty, Caitlin Fluharty, Cali Fluharty, Matthew Fluharty, , Jamie Ingram, Travis Ingram, Preston Ingram; nine great grandchildren: Landon Fluharty, Ethan Hawkins, Aubrey Fluharty, Tristan Fluharty, Jude Full, Charlie Bittinger, Blake Byard, Catalina Nicole Ingram, and Archer Fluharty.
She was also survived by two brothers: Robert Roberts, of Weirton WV and William Roberts
of Wooster OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eugene Fluharty
on Aug 17, 1986 and a brother, Raymond Roberts.
Barbara retired from the Dollar General Store in Mannington. She loved visits from her granddaughter, Taylor and her brothers. She was a Christian by faith and had attended the First Christian Church in her earlier years. Barb loved going to Walmart and wearing out her daughter on the motorized buggy. She loved to read and do puzzles. She loved taking selfies with her
granddaughter, Taylor. She enjoyed watching the Mountaineers play basketball and football on
television.
Her favorite TV shows were Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Law and Order and Survivor.
As her last wishes she wanted to personally thank her Son-in-Law, Timothy, for helping with her
primary care near the end of her life.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington on Monday, April 16 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home, Tuesday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynn White officiating.
Interment will be at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
