Mrs. Barbara E. Ice, age 72, of Fairmont, WV, passed away from this life on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born August 9, 1946 in Fairmont, the daughter of the late Jeannetta M. Haught and her grandparents David and Helen Haught who raised her.
She loved watching the Game Show Network and going to see family and friends when she could until her health started to fail. She also enjoyed attending country music shows with her husband. Her CB handle was “Teamaker”
She is survived by three sons, James Walter Ice of Fairmont, Scotty Eugene Ice and companion Marla Glover and her kids of Farmington, and David Arthur and Sherry Lynn Ice of Fairmont; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Ice of Fairmont.
She also is survived by several grandchildren Dereck and Brittany Ice, Scotty Jones, Michael Glendenning and Mickey Loudin, Linda Stemple and Brian Campbell, Beatrice Burton, Betty Jean Burton and Amanda Burton; several great-grandchildren, Maddison and Courtney Stemple, Sabrina and Sierra Loudin, and Tigressa and Jaxon Glendenning and a wonderful care taker she thought was her daughter, Sheila Campbell and also several nieces and nephews and a very special cousin Linda Meadows and her son Ernest Michael Meadows.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Fay Ice in 2007, a son Michael Fay Ice in 2015 and a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law William and Donna Wells and Betty Eddy.
The family would like to thank Care Partners Home Health in Morgantown and Dr. Richard Simpson and Staff, Dr. Paul Alappat and Staff, Dr. G Patel and Staff at Fairmont Regional Medical Center on 3A for the wonderful care they have shown to her and the family this time.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 6-8:00pm at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street in Mannington. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 3, 2018 beginning at 11:00am with Reverend Wesley Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at McCurdysville Cemetery. Barb will be missed,she was a very caring person,that had a huge heart for everyone. She and the Ice family all helped my dad and mom till their death in many ways. They will not be forgotten. To the Ice boys I hope you will be closer for you are brothers and your mom and dad would want it that way. Love you.
So So sorry that Barb has left us,but she is in heaven with the rest of our family and she is out of pain and rejoicing .She is in God's hands now and she will live in the lord's house now forever. To the family she left behind,carry on she has raised you to be independent and to carry on your life and one day you all will meet again.

I just found out about Barb's passing and I am so very sorry. She was such a delight to be around.
