Barbara Jackson Evans, 46 of Rachel, WV lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born July 11, 1964 at Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Helen Marie and Louis Charles Jackson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Willa Jean and Patricia Ann and her mother-in-law, Roselene (Rosie) Evans.
Barbara leaves behind her loving husband, Kenny, whom she married on May 16, 2009; a son, Greg Jackson of Fairmont; a brother, Louie Jackson of Mannington; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Stout and husband Rob of Mannington and Sheryl Klages and husband Greg of Mannington; brother-in-law, Dave Evans and wife Debbie of Mannington. She is also survived by two special sisters, Jo Jo Gonzales and Michelle Anderson as well as all of her special friends who attended her benefit dinner and especially al her wonderful friends at Brooks Bistro. She has several aunts, uncles and cousins. All of her nieces and nephews had a special place in her heart.
Everyone who knew Barb loved her and those who did not, missed meeting an angel. She smiled when she was the sickest and still had time to listen to everyone else’s problems. She was the bravest person we ever knew and she faced every day with a positive attitude. So when you think of her, please smile for now she’s walking with God on her golden mile. She has no pain, she’s the shining light. She will be our Angel from morning till night. “We Love You Barb”.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, cremation was chosen as the method of final disposition. There will be no viewing or funeral services.
