Bessie Mary Helen Edith Daft Carper, age 51 of Westover passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born December 31, 1970 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of Kathleen May Price Daft of Mannington and the late Herman Edward “Pat” Daft who died November 1, 1998.
She is survived by her husband Errol Edward Newsome of Westover; her daughter Brittni Nicole Hoover of Pittsburgh and her son Jonathan Daft of Westover; one granddaughter, Sage Daft of Morgantown; three siblings, Kathy (Buck) Gump of Farmington, Cecil Daft of Farmington, and Shelly McCale of Kingmont; a niece Sara Katonka of Westover; and several nieces and nephews.
Her granddaughter Sage was the love of her life. She loved her flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Monday, February 7, 2022 beginning from 11:00am to 6:00pm with a Memorial service beginning at 6:00pm.
