Beth Anne Shaw, age 40, of Wallace, West Virginia passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at WVU Medical United Hospital Center. She was born December 13, 1984 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of Lisa Little Higginbotham and the late Henry Higginbotham and her step-father Buddy Higginbotham.

Beth is survived by her husband Andy Shaw of Wallace, her two sons, Andrew Shaw who is stationed in the Army in Georgia and Ayden Shaw who is still at home. She is also survived by two sisters, Glenna Higginbotham of Littleton and Sarah “Bubba” Dudley and her husband Jason of Smithfield, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Beth was preceded in death her sister Stephanie Higginbotham, and both her paternal grandparents. Beth was self-employed and a “jack-of-all-trades”. She was a homemaker and raised her kids. She was a very creative woman and especially enjoyed crafts, drawing and music. But spending time with her family and friends was important to her as she loved her children very much and was very proud of them!

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 9:00am-12:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Lee Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Pricetown Cemetery.

I was always happy to Beth and Andy rolling on on their 4 wheeler to visit Mike and later Farren and me. Too young to be gone. Love and prayers to Andy and the children and all her family. A lovely young woman.
