Billy L. Myers, age 93 of Mannington, WV passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at WVU Medical Hospital in Fairmont. He was born June 24, 1929 in Rymer, WV, a son of the late James H. Myers and Ethel M. Harker Myers.

Bill was an Army Airborne Paratrooper and Military truck driver. He loved riding motor-cycles, camping, boating and spending time with his wife Juanita, their dog, and his nieces and nephews. He loved all animals, especially cats, dogs and birds. He worked in Cleveland and Ravenna, Ohio before retiring and returning to Mannington.

Survivors include three nieces, Judy (Leonard) Myers of Plum Run, Barbara Switzer of Ohio, and Janice (Elmer) Kauffman of Ohio; one nephew, Frank Austin of Ohio; several great-nieces and nephews; and his companion Judy Stewart.

In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his wife Juanita M. Antel Myers who died July 6, 1995; an infant brother Donald H. Myers; two sisters, Betty Myers Wells and Emma Myers Austin; a niece, Melinda Morse, and a nephew, Denzil H. Austin.

The family would like to thank WVU Medical Staff for their kindness and thoughtfulness.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Monday, September 5, 2022 from 10:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.

Uncle Bill, You were more then an Uncle to me and my siblings. You will be missed by so many. I was glad Judy, Diana and I were able to be with you as you took your last breathe on this earth. Until we see each other again, know I love you forever. Hope you are having coffee with your sisters, Aunt Betty & Emma (Mom).
