Carol Sue Higgins, age 64, of Mannington, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born March 31, 1960 at Fairmont, a daughter of the late Ray and Eileen Ashcraft.

Carol is survived by her husband Roger Higgins, her brother Dave Ashcraft of Warren, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Ashcraft and Jim Ashcraft.

Carol was a graduate of North Marion High School and Fairmont State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She was employed as a librarian at The Mannington Public Library where retired from.
She was a member of the Women Of The Moose at the Mannington Moose Lodge. She enjoyed crafting and sold crafts at the annual Octoberfest in Mannington every year.

There will be no visitation or services at this time as Carols wishes were for cremation as her final disposition.
Masters Funeral Home has been placed in care of her final arrangements.
