Carolyn Jean Hillberry, age 77 of Kimberly Heights, Farmington, WV passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born April 13, 1949 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Frank Merriman and Pauline Baker Merriman.

She is survived by her daughter Paula May Stewart of Farmington, two grandchildren, Amber Fluharty and Eric Fluharty, and five great-grandchildren, Briella, Reagan, Sophie, Braxton, and Asher. Carolyn is also survived by her sister Kathleen Merriman, her sister-in-law Fonda Merriman, several in-laws and their spouses.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Albert Lee Hillberry with whom she married July 8, 1977 and having passed away July 19, 2015, her sister Sandra Merriman, and her brother Roger Merriman.

Carolyn was a homemaker who loved to sew. She also enjoyed going fishing.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Jason Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Viewpoint Cemetery.

Remembering great times with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Albert while staying over at Paulas when we came for visits! Some of my best childhood memories. So sorry for your loss and cherishing the times we had together. Hugs and prayers Roxie
