Charlotte Louise Sickles, 60 of Metz, WV passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born November 10, 1952, in Bradford, PA, a daughter of the late Billy Lee Hostuttler and Helen Louise Rice Hostuttler Jones.
She is survived by a daughter, Kristina Gabor and husband Martin of Farmington; a son Dellis “D.L.” Sickles of Flat Run, Mannington and his fiancé Wendy S. Takano; one granddaughter, Emily Rose “Rosie” Gabor of Farmington; 5 brothers, Eddie Hostuttler and wife Debbie of Metz, Mike Hostuttler of Henderson, KY, Mark Hostuttler and wife Theresa of WV; Timothy Jones of Fairmont, and James Jones of Fairmont; one sister, Janet Louise Jones of Metz; one niece, Gracie Jones Saltis of Metz; 3 step-granddaughters, Mika, Chisa and Kaya, all from state of Washington.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Dellas “Giz” Sickles who died July 7, 2010, a brother, Roger Allan Hostuttler, and an infant brother, Terry Jones.
Charlotte worked as an operator for Verizon/Frontier Phone Company. She enjoyed knitting and crafts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. There will be no funeral services as cremation was chosen at the request of Mrs. Sickles for her final method of disposition.
