Clarence Fredrick “John” Eddy, 67 of Fayette, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013. He was born December 29, 1945, in Marion County, WV, a son of the late Herbert Clarence Eddy and Nettie Pauline Hughes Eddy.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Ruth Efaw of Farmington, WV and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Sides; two sisters, Catherine Irene Eddy Regger and Dessie Sue Cover; one brother, Edwin Jr. Eddy; a half-sister, Dorothy Brown; grandparents, Edna and Joe Hughes.
John worked in contracting and electrical work and had previously worked at Owens Illinois. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting.
There will be no visitation or funeral services locally. Visitation and Funeral services will held at a later date at the Nelson Funeral Home in Fayette, Alabama and interment will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery.
