Clarence Eugene Stout, age 70 of Farmington, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 after a long illness. He was born January 22, 1954 in Fairmont, WV the son of Genevieve Mae Crim Stout of Plum Run and the late Paul Junior Stout.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rebecca Jean “Becky” Allan Stout and his son Chad (Chris) Stout. Clarence is also survived by his granddaughter Paige Stout of Arizona, his daughter-in-law Kate McClung of Arizona, two sisters, Karen Sue “Susie” (Danny) Long of Mannington and Virginia Kay (Jim) Sturm of Metz, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ron and Cora Jean “Jeannie” Allan of Mannington, four brothers-in-law, R.D. (Janet) Allan of Mannington, John (Erin) Allan of Florida, Ethan (Lauren) Allan of Texas, and Justin Allan of Mannington, aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his father Junior who died November 12, 2014, Clarence was preceded in death by his son Jeremy Stout, grandson Levi Stout, and two nephews, Danny Long, Jr. and Cassidy Sturm.

Clarence graduated from Farmington High School in 1972 and was employed with the UMWA. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Joetown. Clarence was an avid coon hunter. He was a member of the Mon Valley Coon Hunters Association and obtained his Master of Hounds license through the United Kennel Club. He also served on the Farmington Town Council.

In keeping with Clarence’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. He will be laid to rest at the convenience of the family at the I.O.O.F of Farmington. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
