Craig Edwin “Pappy” Henderson, age 69 of Carolina, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1952 at Waynesburg, PA, a son of Mary Jo (Henderson) Morris of Schenectady, NY and the late Rex Morris.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Ellen Riggs Henderson of Carolina, with whom he was married to for 44 years; two children, Nikki (Jason) Tennant of Carolina, and Olen Henderson of Carolina; two grandsons, Keegun McCullough and fiancé Shelby King of Fairmont, and Kade Tennant of Carolina; a nephew and niece, Mark (Kate) Giemza of Schenectady, NY and Sarah (Dave) Kline of Galway, NY; and his dog Bonnie.

In addition to his father, Craig was preceded in death by a son, Marshall; a sister, Carma Jo Giemza; and a brother-in-law, Paul Giemza.

Craig worked at the Bank of Wadestown for 22 years, as well as Golub Corp. having retired with 20 years of service in their Accounting Dept. He always followed the political news and read extensively. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandsons.

Direct cremation was chosen as Craig’s final method of disposition. A visitation will be held at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 1-3:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 3:00pm with Dr. Evangelist Michael P. Reese officiating. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com or the funeral home facebook page. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kenya Mission, in care of the Mannington Church of Christ, 706 E Main St., Mannington, WV 26582.

I enjoyed working with Craig at Golub. We would have some good conversations and he was always respectful and considerate of others. He was a kind and gentle soul.
