Cynthia Kay Yager Ice 59 of Mannington, WV previously of Mt. Morris, PA, who passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. She was born June 17, 1965 in Fairmont, the daughter of Lorraine Yager and the late Julius Yager. Also, the late Kay Longstreth Fincham and the late Jeffrey Fincham. In addition to her mother Lorraine Yager, she is survived by her sisters Vikki (Denny) Toothman of Mannington, Julie (Frank) Latocha of Katy, Dena Williams of Grafton Candy McGee of Grafton, and Michelle Anderson of Wheeling. Her children Logan Ice of Fairmont and Lindsay Castiglione of Florida. Her grandchildren Maria, Ava, Everly, Zane, Zoey, Brighton, and Cason. Special friend Sean “Pugs” McMillen. Cindy was preceded in death by her daughter Kayla Price, sister Carrie Cox, brother Tommy Fincham, grandparents Zelma and Thomas Longstreth and Virginia and Varner Fincham. Cindy was a member of the Mannington Church of Christ. She attended North Marion High School where she was a member of the Notables. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Cindy was a kind person and would give you her last dollar. The loss of her daughter Kayla, devastated Cindy. Before becoming sick, Cindy worked at Mt. Morris Clinic and was studying to become a nurse. She fought her illness for 14 years until she could not fight it any longer. She wanted her children and grandchildren not to be sad because she would be forever watching over them from above. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Cleveland Clinic, WVU Ruby Memorial hospital, and Mon General for their kindness and caring. Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 2-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1:00pm with Evangelist Dr. Michael Reese officiating. Interment will follow at the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I grew up in homewood with Cindy and went all through school with her. She always had a smile on her face. She was a wonderful person with a kind heart and I’m sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
