Dale Price Duncan, age 88 of Hundred, WV passed away on September 30, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 28, 1936, a son of the late Paul Bennett Duncan and Ruth Velma Ice Duncan.
Dale is survived by his wife Dottie Lou Shuman Duncan of Hundred, his two daughters, Linda Duncan of New Martinsville and Sandra Kay Duncan of Hundred, and his son David Scott Duncan and his wife Deidre of Rivesville. Dale is also survived by three grandchildren, Paul Bryce Duncan, Samuel Gage Duncan and Jahnvi Duncan.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his sister Bessie Lucille Duncan who died as a baby, and his brother Jerry Lee Duncan.
Dale attended Mannington High School, graduating in 1955. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked various jobs including Corwin Ford, Joanne Coal Mine, and finishing at Wetzel County Schools as a custodian. Dale was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing Bluegrass and Country music. He played with several groups in the tri-state area and he especially enjoyed playing his Dobro, acoustic, and steel guitars.
Family and friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 2-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jason Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at the Thomas/Sand Hill Cemetery.
