Dallis V. Parker, 86 of Fairview, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born Sept. 2, 1925 in Plum Run, WV, a son of the late Earl and Essie Toothman Parker.
He is survived by his 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dean Chisler of Fairview, Mary and Fred Mason of Fairview, Kathy and Lawrence Kincell of Fairview and Kim and Gary Weaver of Fairmont; 8 grandchildren, Kevin and Kristi Chisler, Julie Booth and Chuck, Margie Mason and companion Sean Deryke, Larry and Melanie Kincell, Bob and Nicki Kincell, Richard and Amanda Jo Kincell, Joseph Weaver, and Savanna Weaver and fiancée Chris; 11 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Chisler, McKenzie Booth, Wyatt Kincell, Summer Dawn Kincell, Isaac, Maddie Raine, Parker and Brock Kincell, Kelsie June Marie Kincell and Lucas Kincell; one brother, Denzil Parker and wife Louise of Plum Run; one sister, Zora Shriver and husband Ralph of Fairmont; 2 sisters-in-law, Avis Parker of Fairmont and Shirley Parker of Plum Run; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dallis was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Ruth Parker who died on January 2, 2008, and two brothers, Elmus Parker and Delmus Parker.
Dallis was a member of the Plum Run Baptist Church. He was a coal miner for Consolidated Coal Company at #9 and Loveridge #22, with which he retired from with 33 years of service. He loved farming. He was a very hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his little grandchildren. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 2-4:00 P.M. and 6-8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Wednesday, March 31, 2012 in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Kincell officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Farmington.
