Deborah Ann Hibbs Garrett, age 60 of Clarksburg, WV passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born March 25, 1962 in Bristol, PA, a daughter of Hazel Jean Jones Dawson of Plum Run, Mannington and the late Donald Dawson.

Deborah is survived by three children, Jacqueline Starsick Mahaney and husband Eric of Mannington, Christopher Hibbs of Grantown, WV, and Chrystal Ridenour and husband William of Clarksburg, WV, her step-son Joshua Garrett of Enterprise, seven grandchildren, William Dawson, William Ridenour, Xander Ridenour, Chasity Ridenour, Trista Ridenour, Havana Mahaney and Erik Mahaney Jr., and two great-grandchildren, Abby Ridenour and Joseph Ridenour. She is also survived by three siblings, Denise Turner of Washington, GA, Donna and Dennis Carl of Mannington, and Joe Dawson of Lexington, NC, and a nephew Nathaniel Hibbs along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Deborah was preceded in death by her first husband Willie Hibbs, her second husband Bernard Garrett, and two sons, Patrick Michael Starsick Jr. and Patrick Scott Starsick.

Deborah was a 1980 graduate of North Marion High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 3-7:30pm with a funeral service beginning at 7:30 with Pastor Johnny Jett officiating. Cremation has been chosen as the final method of disposition.
