Dessie Sue Covey 60, of Mannington, WV passed away unexpectedly in Mannington on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. She was born February 26, 1952 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Herbert Clarence Eddy and Nettie Pauline Hughes Eddy.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Russell Covey of Mannington, whom she was married to for 42 years; one brother, Clarence Frederick Eddy and wife Joyce of Alabama; one sister, Mary Ruth Efaw of Farmington; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Irene Reger; one brother, Edwin Junior Eddy; half-sister, Dorothy Brown; two brothers-in-law, Harold Wayne Efaw and Bud Reger; half-brother-in-law, Bill Brown; 2 uncles, Carl Hughes and Red Eddy.

Sue was a homemaker and a member of the Over the Hill Gang.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 2-8:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, April 27, 2012 in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Coon officiating.  Burial will follow at the Viewpoint Cemetery in Rachel.  On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com
