Douglas Frederick "Doug" Morgan, 61 of Claysville, PA passed away, Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born April 8, 1949 at Proctor, WV a son of the late Ernest C. "Bud" and Roma June Booher Morgan.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy Eastham Morgan of Claysville, PA; two daughters, Amy Shanor and her husband Eric of Claysville, PA and Jamie Vukovich and her husband Frank of Mannington, WV; four grandchildren, Skyler Morgan and Addie, Wyatt and Jesse Shanor; two brothers, Richard Morgan and his wife Joyce and Gary Morgan and his wife Carolyn all of Wetzel County, WV; one sister, Debbie Saunders and her husband Orville of Bolivar, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Doug was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Company as a Material Control Manager. He was a member of the Mannington Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 4-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Evangelist Michael P. Reese officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park cemetery.
