Earl Duane Sandy, age 68 of Glade Fork, Mannington, WV passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born October 21, 1951 in Bridgeport, WV, a son of the late Harry Sandy and Tressie (Flowers) Sandy.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Reel-Sandy; two sons, William Sandy of Mannington and Bradley Sandy of Wyatt; one daughter, Mandy Bledsoe of Mannington; four grandchildren, Addyson, Autumn, Jacklyn and Destiny; one great-granddaughter, Allisia (Monkey); one great-grandson on the way; three brothers, Charlie Sandy, Harry Sandy Jr., and Kevin Tacey, all of Clarksburg; two step-sisters, Charmelita and Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.

Earl spent his whole life working, first at Carroll Lumber in Bridgeport from 1972 to 1976 and then as a coal miner from 1976 to 2017 for Murray at Robinson Run in Harrison County where he retired from.

There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services as Earl’s request was for cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home or to the go fund me page at oaksandy@gmail.com The family will have a going home party at a later date in the year. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
