Eddie Hostuttler

Eddie Lee Hostuttler, 62, of Metz, WV, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born December 2, 1951 at Bradford, PA, son of the late Billy Lee Hostuttler and Helen Louise Rice Hostuttler Jones

Eddie is survived by his son, Eddie Hostuttler Jr., and wife who reside in Ohio; one daughter, Jennifer Looman of WV; 2 granddaughters, Lindsey and Danyelle; 4 brothers, Mike Hostuttler of KY, Mark Hostuttler and wife Theresa of WV, Timothy Jones of Fairmont, WV and James Jones of Fairmont, WV; one sister, Janet Louise Jones, Metz, WV; 4 nieces, Kristina Gabor of Metz, WV, Mary Beth Hostuttler of WV, Jada Hostuttler of WV, and Gracie Jones Soltis of Metz,WV; 2 nephews, Dellis “DL” Sickles of Flat Run and Mark Hostuttler, Jr. of WV; one great-niece, Emily Rose “Rosie” Gabor, of Metz, WV.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Marasco Hostuttler; two brothers, Roger Allan Hostuttler, and Terry Jones, who died in infancy; and one sister, Charlotte L. Sickles.

Eddie was employed by Ohio Valley Marine Corp. as a barge mechanic. He enjoyed watching Western TV shows and watching the deer out his window at home. He also enjoyed going for road trips.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. There will be no funeral services in the funeral home. However, visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and at 11:30, everyone attending may proceed to the cemetery for a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. at Harmony Cemetery in Burton, WV.
