Edna Lucille Pyles, age 87 of Dunkard Mill, Farmington, WV passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family, both far and near. She was born October 18, 1938 in Bethel, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Hazel Toothman Fluharty.

She was survived by four daughters, Sherry DeVault, Glenda (Greg) Hayhurst, Tammy Lance, and Karen Pyles and spouse Robin Tennant, her son-in-law Brian Pellegrino, fourteen grandchildren, Sherry Lynn (Dave) McCusker, Brandy (Dustin) Todd, Amanda (Richard) Gerrard, Michael DeVault Jr., Derek DeVault, Amber (John) Spencer, Gregory (Keisha) Hayhurst, China Lance, Autumn (Dan) Neel, James Lance, Timothy Pellegrino, Ashley Pellegrino, Samuel Pellegrino, and Krystal Pellegrino, and 16 great-grandchildren, Dustin Hayes, Cyrus Collins, Ella Gerrard, Gemma Gerrard, Micah DeVault, Brayah DeVault, Tobin Todd, Fletcher Todd, Myles Todd, Nate McCusker, Charles Spencer, Benjamin Spencer, Sophia Spencer, Harley Lance, Jonas Neel and Max Neel. Edna is also survived by two sisters, Helen Long and Shirley Osborne, and her brother Richard Fluharty.

Edna loved following her grandkids and great-grandkids sporting events and was always their biggest cheerleader. She also enjoyed bird watching, games shows and sitting outside in the sun.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Howard Pyles, her son Duane Pyles, her daughter Julie Pellegrino, three brothers, Robert, Raymond and Calvin Fluharty, and two sisters, Leola Powell and Thelma Guthrie.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 3-8:00pm and also on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 9:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Terry Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Toothman Cemetery on Bethel.
