Erma Rose Coen, age 94 of Mannington, WV passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Waynesburg Health Care and Rehabilitation. She was born July 22, 1924 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late James Clarence Little and Emma Craig Little.
She is survived by 5 children, Kenneth “Pete” (Mary) Coen of Pricetown, Donna “Jeanie” (Louis) Hillberry of Mannington, John D. (Pauletta) Coen of Alliance, OH, Marcia (Bill) Moran of Fairmont, and Robert “Bobby” (Amy) Coen of Fairmont; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Edward Coen who died on December 29, 1987; 2 children, Virgil Ray Coen and Foster M. Coen; 5 siblings, Herbert “Herb” Little, John Little, Kathleen Little Longwell Ancel, Jenora Little Grule, and Jacob Little.
Erma was attended the Oakwood Church of Christ and the Mannington Church of Christ. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Fairmont. She spent her life caring for and helping others, always putting others needs ahead of her own. Although many of her friends and family proceeded her in death, she will live on in the memories of all those who knew and loved her.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 2-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, December 20, 2018 beginning at 11:00am with Evangelist Brent Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow the Pricetown Cemetery.
