Errol Dewight “Butch” Vanderhoff, age 80 of Glade Fork, Mannington, WV passed away Friday, April 24, 2026 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born April 18, 1946 in Ohio, a son of the late Lewis R. Vanderhoff and Ardith Hope Pigott Vanderhoff.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rosalee Stevens Vanderhoff and their three children, Nancy and Russell Starsick, Buddy and Julie Vanderhoff, and Joe and Beth Vanderhoff, all of whom reside in Joetown. Butch is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, his brother Gregory Vanderhoff of Miles, OH, his sister Joyce Bowers of Marietta, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by two brothers, Jefferey Vanderhoff and Lewis R. Vanderhoff, and his sister Twana Slaughter.

Butch worked for and retired from the R&H Foundry in Hutchinson where he poured liquid steel to make cast grates and ran cables for making molds. He also worked for several years the Pipe Factory in Ohio. Butch enjoyed being outdoors going hunting and fishing as well as working on his vehicles. He was a Pentecostal by Faith.

There will be no funeral home services as cremation was his choice of final disposition. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been places in care of the final arrangements.
