Ethel Alta Elizabeth McKahan Watson, 93 of Hutchinson, WV passed away Sunday, February 4, 2012 at Pierpont Center in Fairmont, WV.  She was born May 21, 1918 at Washington, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John Forest McKahan and Emma Catherine Kimmey McKahan.

She is survived by her four children, Robert Watson of Freedom, PA, John Watson and wife Patsy of Pine Grove, WV, Margaret Hatcher of Beaver Falls, PA and James Watson and wife Tammy of Elkhart, IN; 5 children she raised, Donna Symenski of Fairmont, WV, Dennis Watson of Fairmont, Ethel Watson of Fairview, WV, William Watson of Beaver Falls, PA and Sue Pasquale of Orlando, FL; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, June Ratliff of East Liverpool, OH and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Watson on February 4, 1988; mother-in-law and father, Margaret and James Watson; daughter, Ethel Watson;  2 sons, Willard Watson, Jr. and William Watson; one grandson, Robert Watson, Jr.; 2 great-grandchildren, Shannon Monsconi and John-Michael Pasquale, one great-great-grandson, Donavin Campbell; one daughter-in-law, Marie Watson, 2 sons-in-law, Clyde Hatcher and James Symenski; one granddaughter-in-law, Judy Watson.

Ethel was a homemaker and loved taking care of babies and children.  She was a member of the Swisher Hill Union Mission Church.  She enjoyed baking and cooking and spending time with family.

Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WVon Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 2-4:00 P.M. and 6-8:00 P.M. and Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 2-4:00 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Roy Clark officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Creek Cemetery in Charleroi, PA.
