Evelyn A. Linville Stottlemire Horwalt, 94 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born October 12, 1915 at Mannington, WV a daughter of the late Issac E. and Rhea Hazel Mason Linville.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Jean Stottlemire Compton of Mannington, WV, Mary Jo Hutson and husband Butch of California, Rosalie Stottlemire Efaw and husband Kenny of Mannington, Kenny Stottlemire and wife Muggy of Fairmont, WV, and Donna Lynn Horwalt Smith and husband Tom of Bedford, PA; one brother, Ivan Linville of Springfield, Oregon and a sister-in-law, Mae Linville of Mannington; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Moore and husband Jerry of Mannington; grandchildren include, Robert Wayne Compton and wife Connie, Pamela Sue Lynch and husband Danny, Bobbi Jean Tonti and husband John, Michelle Stottlemire Mullenax and husband Jeff, Kenny A. Stottlemire, Debbie Linville, Steven Hutson, Michael Hutson and wife Joanie, David Hutson, Randy Efaw and wife Vickie, Steve Efaw and wife Sabrina, Michael Efaw and fiancée Missy Mascara and Paula Johnson and husband Gary; twenty six great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her children, Paul D. Stottlemire, Richard Lee Stottlemire, Harold Ray Stottlemire and Deloris Lou Stottlemire; brothers, Charles Linville, Ernest Linville, James Linville, Raymond Linville, and Frances Linvillle; a sister, Irene McCann; grandson, Paul "Bim" Stottlemire, Jr., and son-in-law, Robert Compton.
Evelyn lived and volunteered at Marion Unity for 26 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with Becky. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 3:30 - 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Roger Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Cemetery.
