Frank Walter Yost, age 76, of Mannington, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1943, in Mannington, WV, a son of the late Frank Alfred Yost and Mary Isabell Wells Yost. He is survived by two sisters, Diane Schwartz of Mannington, and Sarah Margaret Maddux and husband Gene of Suitland, MD; one niece, Amy Schwartz and four nephews, Jeremy Schwartz, Chuck Yost, Frank Yost and Robert Yost, all of Ohio; one great-niece and 6 great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bobby Yost, Fay Yost and John Yost. Walter worked at Jewel’s Camping Trucks near Mannington Pottery and also Joe Looman’s Feed Store. He loved working at the Mannington Fair and always helping people. Family and friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services following at 1:00pm with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. I am so sorry Walter had to past in this way. Me and my sister’s always enjoyed playing cowboys and Indians with him as kids growing up together. He was always one of the Indians. May god bless his soul with a new body.
