Harold Frank O’Dell, age 71 of Farmington, WV died on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1948 in Wyatt, WV, son of the late Jim O’Dell and Glory Luvil Bowman O’Dell. Harold is survived by his three sons, Les (Jennifer) O’Dell of Idamay, Budd (Angel) O’Dell of Grant Town, and Richie (Ashley) O’Dell of Idamay; 10 grandchildren, Justin O’Dellm Rudy Stull, Jax Stull, Mason O’Dell, D.J. Cokeley, Kayla Cokeley, Brian and Wyatt O’Dell, Reese Hayes, and Allison Hall; 5 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Forrest (Virginia) O’Dell of Farmington, Madeline (Eugene) Blake of Farmington, Charles O’Dell of Farmington, Carter (Claudia) O’Dell of Idamay, Gloria Harris of Farmington, and Patrick O’Dell and Cookie Carpenter of Farmington; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Mike O’Dell who died on December 5, 2015; a sister, Melverta King and two brothers, James R. O’Dell and Issac O’Dell. Harold was a United States Army Veteran having served during in Vietnam on the 101st Airborne. He retired with 18 years of service at Belmont Aggregates in Powhatin Point, Ohio. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services. Cremation was Harold’s chosen final wishes. Masters Funeral Home has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
