Herbert Rice 76, of Hundred, WV passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Arbors in Fairmont, WV. He was born March 5, 1936 in Glover Gap, WV, a son of the late Harvey Rice and Grace Scritchfield Rice.
He is survived by his brother, Don Rice and wife Mary of Weirton; his sister, Karen Hinerman and companion, Steven Torman, of Mannington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Herbert was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and George Rice; two sisters, Helen Hostutler Jones and Martha Starkey; 2 nephews, Roger Hostutler and Eric Ray Hinerman.
Herbert enjoyed farming and also like hunting and fishing.
The family would like to thank Wetzel County Home Health Care Workers, especially Susie White. Also a thank you to Dr. Wolfe and staff and the folks at Arbors in Fairmont.
