Howard Russell Villers, age 69, of Mannington, WV, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1948 at Marion County, WV, a son of the late Thomas Villers and Goldie Pyles Villers.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Shantele and Michael Starling of Mannington and Teresa and Larry Martin of Mannington; 4 grandchildren, Maddie and Aden Starling and Austin and Dylan Martin; three brothers, Randy and Lois Villers of Barrackville, Donnie and Donna Villers of Kimbolton, OH and Gary Villers and significant other Jennifer LaFontaine of Akron, OH; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Pat Villers of Mannington.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his two brothers, Millard and Willard Villers and a sister, Mary Alice Price.

Howard retired from the West Virginia Dept. of Highways in Mannington. He also had worked at Pierson Security as a security guard for 14 years. He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and working on cars. He never met a stranger.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St, Mannington, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 4:30-8pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, August 24 at 11am with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Committal services will be held at the funeral home prior to interment which will be at Higgins Cemetery on Camp Run, Mannington.
