Ida May Miller, 78 of Mannington, WV went to be with our Lord on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.  She was born July 30, 1932 in Mannington, a daughter of the late Carney and Martha Lehew.

She was a former employee of Fairmont General Hospital, Owens and a manager of the Solo Station in Fairmont.  After retirement, she enjoyed camping, reading, swimming and became an active member of the Country Club Health/Spa.  She loved watching the humming birds and listening to her wind chimes while sitting on the front porch.

Ida was a very warm hearted person and always had a smile no matter how hard of a day she may have had.  Strangers became her friends.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two children, a daughter, Diana “Cookie” Dawson and her husband Bill of Katy and a son, Marshall “Jr.” Parker and his wife Linda a well as grandchildren, Eric Marshall and Amber; a sister, Anna Louise Parker of Brookfield, Ohio; niece, Martha Ann Gaydos of Burghill, Ohio; great niece, Maria and a close family friend, PawPaw Richard Paugh.

Grandchildren and their spouses include, Sabrina and Steve Efaw, Holly and Jackie Martin, Shane and Kim Dawson, Melissa and Butch Streets, Shyla and Kris Prahl; several great-grandchildren include Travis, Heather and Jessica Miller, Chad and Alex Efaw, Kelsie and Devon Martin, Christian Dawson, Billy and Levi Streets, twins Kristofer and Dylan Prahl; known as “Nanner” to them whom she loved very much and had a special place in her heart; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her youngest son, Noel Lemoin Parker, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Parker, a brother-in-law, Herschel Parker and stepson, Chester “Roy” Parker.

The family would like to thank Jennifer Doshen as Mrs. Miller’s caregiver and for all of her help during her time of need.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family.  Masters Funeral Home is handling cremation arrangements as final deposition for Mrs. Miller.
