Jacqueline "Jackie" Parrish

Jacqueline “Jackie” (Brown) Parrish, 72 of Metz, WV departed this earth to go to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, surrounded by her family at Fairmont General Hospital.  She was born to the late Jack and Bertha Brown on June 24, 1938 in Akron, Ohio.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Edwin “Dale” Parrish; her four children, Randy Parrish and wife Donna, Sheryl Snodgrass and husband Jim, Roger Parrish and wife Patty and Heather Snodgrass and husband BJ; her 9 grandchildren, Jennifer, Ray, Carisha, Rebekah, Alan, Aidan, Shay, Moriah and Maleki.  Also surviving are her 5 siblings (they were affectionately know as the 6 Js), Joan Dominque of California, Jeanette Barnard, John Brown, Judy Bates and husband Ralph and Jim Brown and wife Jan, all of Ohio, as well as 5 siblings-in-law, Ken Parrish and wife Pat, Betty Dulaney and husband Jim, Judy Church, all of WV, Dan Parrish and wife Faith and Joe Parrish and wife Shelly, all of Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and her church family.

Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, shopping, using her computer to make cards, read emails and play games, taking pictures and printing them, and going to Seven Pines Church where she was a member.  Jackie never met a stranger and was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by many!!

Friends and Family may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 2-4:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to the Seven Pines Church, in care of Diana Batson, 484 Curtisville Rd., Mannington, WV, 26582.  At the request of Mrs. Parrish, cremation was chosen as the method of final disposition.  Private inurnment will be made at the convenience of the family.  Online condolences may be left for the family at mastersfuneralhomewv.com.

Aunt Jackie, you were the best Aunt anyone could ask for and you always took time out of your busy schedule to just stop and chat with me and fill me in on the goings-on with our nutty family! You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten..I love you!

Uncle Dale, you have always been my favorite Uncle. Please take care of yourself and know if you need anything I am only a phone call away~ I love you.

Very sorry to hear about Jackie. I have some wonderful memories of her and your
family. I wish we could come down for the funeral but I can't. I would be nice to see everyone

I am sorry to hear of your families loss, even though I was a bit of an outsider, Jackie always made me feel welcome all the time. She is.....was.......and always will be a great woman. She will be missed more than she ever knew.
