James Roger Stewart, age 73 of Mannington, WV passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born January 30, 1948 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Delmar Stewart and Helen Hayes Stewart.

He is survived by his fiancé Brenda Masters of Mannington; a daughter, Paula Stewart of Mannington; two sisters, Patty Booth and companion Roger Barnett of Mannington, and Joyce (David) Jollife of Mannington; a step-son, James Scott (Rhonda) Masters of Mannington; three step-daughters, Angie Masters of Fairview, Nicole (Jonathan) Riggs of Carolina, and Tisha (Larry) Kiser and their three sons, Chaz Wright, Kaleb Kiser and Nicholas Kiser; five grandchildren, Rycen Riggs, Eric and Amber Fluharty, Criquet Hamrick and Christopher Hamrick; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Janice Satterfield Stewart who died May 13, 2016, and two brothers, Carl and Don Stewart.

James was a carpenter and construction work most of his life. He liked to work on cars and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 6-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in the funeral home beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Interment will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery. I was in disbelief when I saw this ..I wanted to take a minute of your time to tell you how sorry I am..
Jim and Jan were my neighbors for 21 yrs in Grandview and I couldn't ask for better neighbors they were always there to lead a hand and the memories I have of Jim and Rob are priceless they were like Mutt and Jeff what 1 couldn't think of to get into the other 1 did ..I can tell you some stories ..but what fun did they have..
So with a heavy heart I will definitely have memories I can cherish forever..and that brings a smile to my face ..he will never be forgotten
