Jane Elizabeth Green, 94 of Rivesville, WV passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. She was born July 6, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late William Lester Green and Angela Lenore Smith Green.
She is survived by her cousins, Jack Smith of Pittsburgh, PA, Terri DeMicco and husband Michael and their children, Michael, Joe and Kari DeMicco of Rivesville, WV, and Stephen Showalter and wife Karen of Frederick, MD; as well as several other cousins.
Jane worked several places in Cleveland, OH, retiring from Sherman Williams Corp. She was an Episcopalian by faith. She enjoyed listening to classical and country music. She also enjoyed knitting, doing crossword puzzles, reading and staying current on the news. In her early years, she was an accomplished pianist.
Throughout the years, Jane and her brother Harry had many faithful canine and feline companions. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio till the mid 80’s until her and her brother retired to West Virginia, then living in Katy for many years before moving to Rivesville in 2010.
Family and Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 10:30 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Reverend Bill Coon officiating.
