Jerry Dale Eddy, age 69 of Whetstone Rd., Mannington, WV passed away on September 20, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 18, 1951 in Mannington, WV, a son of the late William Edward Eddy and Elizabeth Mae Sharp Eddy.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Hilda Shaw Eddy of Mannington; two daughters, Michelle Eddy and Kimie Eddy, both of Mannington; two sisters, Mary Mabry and Freda Hibbs, both of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Jerame Eddy; and two brothers, Fredie and Herbert Eddy.

Jerry retired from the UMWA Robinson Run Mine with 39 years. He liked his computer and surfing the web. He enjoyed his retirement going on road trips and spending time with his many friends.

There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
