Jerry Higgins

Jerry Bruce Higgins, 65 of Mannington, WV passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Fairmont General Hospital.  He was born October 23, 1946 at Camp Run, Mannington, WV, a son of the late Robert Clifton and Isabelle Mae Parrish Higgins.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Delene Earl Higgins; 4 children, Jerry Bruce Higgins, Jr., John Edward Higgins, Robert Loren Higgins and Kathy Delene Higgins, all of Mannington; 3 grandchildren, Robert Daniel Higgins and the twins, Mykinze Marie and Mykayla Michelle; one brother, Robert Higgins of Plum Run; 3 sisters, Carolyn Higgins of Mannington, Lucille Parker of Mannington and Sharon Asher of Fairmont.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert Clifton Higgins, Jr.    

Jerry worked in the building and construction industry.  He enjoyed building miniature villages in his spare time.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 2-4:00 P.M. and 6-9:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in the funeral home with Evangelist Steve Snider officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mannington Cemetery.
